The first set of British postage stamps to have been printed by a combination of photogravure and recess printing, adding depth to the stamp design. The 7p stamp illustrates dinghies; racing keel boats are shown on the 8p stamp; the 10p stamps depicts cruising yachts, with multi-hulls on the 12p stamp.
A significant set of stamps of my home town, given that Weymouth and Portland is home to the National Sailing Academy.
Frame: Brown frame with a dark blue background, measuring 250mm x 66mm.
